Luke 13:34 NIV
[34] “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.
Sometimes God reveals his heart to us – the things that really hurt him – and here Jesus mourns over Jerusalem…”I have longed……”. How amazing that God longs for relationship with those he created! If we ask to share God’s heart we may find that he lets us share that longing for people to find freedom, joy, Life and hope – that God’s voice will be heard through all the noise and worry of the world at the moment. He is speaking and we need more than ever, to hear his voice and to share his heart!
