There is much uncertainty about what best to do to contain Covid-19. The pandemic has led to exceptional levels of surveillance and enforcement by authorities over the entire population. And that gives rise to feelings of unease that could eventually lead to conflict. The long-term effects on individuals, families and society at large has yet to be seen. As social compliance to the strictures of lock-down and on freedom of movement might appear to be weakening and anger rising, we are guided to pray the prayer for peace and security.
Heavenly Father we pray for peace and for deliverance and that in your embrace peace and justice will reign.
