Psalm 23:2-3 NIV
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
These verses are about restoration and peace, but there’s another aspect too that maybe is noted less often. These verses are all about movement; God makes us lie down, he leads us, he guides us. In which direction is God nudging you today? Is there somewhere he wants you to go (physically or emotionally)? Is there a decision he wants you to make? A conversation to have? What path might he be prompting you towards?
Jesus, my Good Shepherd, show me where you want me today and I will follow.
