Hebrews 11:8
By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.
In obedience to God and with the confidence of his faith in God, Abraham as we read in Genesis, went on a journey, and had belief in the promise of God that one day he would receive the land of Canaan. At times as we respond to the call of God the final destination is far from obvious. We undertake things in faith but are uncertain of the outcome or sometimes even the wisdom of what it is we are attempting to do. That is when the test comes: do we have confidence in Him? How deeply do we really put our trust in God?
Seek ye first the kingdom of God
And His righteousness
And all these things will be added unto you….
