Isaiah 40:9 (NIVUK)
9 You who bring good news to Zion,
go up on a high mountain.
You who bring good news to Jerusalem,
lift up your voice with a shout,
lift it up, do not be afraid;
say to the towns of Judah,
‘Here is your God!’
What better news can there be than God is with us, longs for a relationship with us, and wants to invite us into his family! Isaiah encourages the confident and loud sharing of this news. I wonder if my timidness in telling others communicates that I’m not confident in what I’m saying, and that being bolder would give more encouragement to others that it is true and worth being a part of?
Jesus is alive! Thank you for the glorious good news of the resurrection! Help me to take a chance to talk about it with others this weekend.
