Psalm 8:5-6 NIVUK
5 You have made them a little lower than the angels
and crowned them with glory and honour.
6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their feet:

Yesterday we thought about the immensity of space and the even greater immensity of God who made it. Next to him we are nothing, a vanishingly small and fleeting speck, but look, in an act that says more about God than it does of us, God takes us and raises us up almost to the angels, making us the rulers, lords of his creation. Astonishing!

Thank you Father that you see us and raise us beyond where we deserve to be.
