Bible Reading: Genesis 12:10
Now there was a famine in the land, and Abram went down to Egypt to live there for a while because the famine was severe.
Thought for Reflection: In case we think that life was all plain sailing for Abraham, here is a great story of trying to do things his own way and how it nearly ended in disaster. Our God, however, who never gives up on us, made it ok!
We can still learn the same thing – Gods way is best!
Prayer: Father, help me to trust you when things are difficult and not to go off to the world’s way of doing things.
