FACT: The universe is about 13.8 billion years old, so any light we see has to have been travelling for 13.8 billion years or less.
The distance between Earth and the edge of the observable universe is 46 billion light-years.
The enormity of it all is hard to comprehend. It’s truly awe inspiring that God who created all of this could care for you and me.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
