Psalm 103:11-13 NIV
[11] For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; [12] as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. [13] As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
“Everyone needs compassion” says one of the songs we sing and how often do we feel that!! “Give me a break” we hear – we need some time to think, need some help, can’t manage the mess we find ourselves in….Let this verse sink into your heart today – as a Father has compassion on his children….won’t a Father move heaven and earth to help his children? Wouldn’t a parent give their last crust to feed their baby? God has a burning, undying love for you and has compassion – pity that works – that will have him at your side the instant you cry out to him. Trust him today!
