1 Peter 1:7 NIV
……….you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials……
[7] These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed.

We are going through trials today – globally, nationally and personally, but God knows and cares about us and these things are not outside of his concern and power. Peter encourages us to stay faithful and trusting so that the value of our faith, which comes through the fire, may bring praise to our King Jesus. Let’s share the hope and security we have in him so that these trials result, not in despair, but in praise, glory and honour!

Lord Jesus, lift our eyes to you today so that we know your presence and hope and are able to share that with others.
