Matthew 6:13*
…for yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory for ever. Amen.
Throughout, the Lord’s Prayer has reminded us of our reliance on God. It is him we are serving, his Kingdom we long to see, he is the one who supplies our daily needs, and he is the one who can deal with sin and help us meet temptation. The beginning of the prayer turns our eyes deliberately on him in worship; ‘hallowed be your name… yours is…’ This week, the Lord’s Prayer will lead us in celebration as we explore each facet of this closing phrase, reminding us how glorious our Father is.
Father, it’s all about you and what you have done through your Son!
Spirit, fill our hearts and minds with wonder and worship as we reflect and live out our faith this week.
