1 Kings 17:2-4 NIV
[2] Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: [3] “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. [4] You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.”
The word of the Lord – cutting through the difficulties, providing security and sustenance; all Elijah has to do is listen and obey – it’s simple!! This is too good a story to just read selected verses; it is worth going back to and allowing God to reassure us, challenge us and guide us because we can learn, like Elijah, that God has a plan and his plan is good.
Give us today our daily bread……Lord, let us see your provision and help us hear your voice today.
